stores in a single web site. All products are presented to
the customers in a consistent fashion in which they can purchase
products using a secure and easy to use shopping cart.
Each vendor is allowed to maintain individual
products, based upon access granted by the Administrator.
At the time of checkout, a customer will be fully aware that
the products purchased are billed directly by each individual
vendor, and that the credit card will have a separate charge
for each. |

is a featured store. If you goto the Mall
Sample Application url you will that that Cheap
Computer Deals is a Featured Store, the act of featuring store
is granded by the Mall Administrator and it can be done from
the Feature Mall Stores form from the back office. Remember,
featured stores can only be set by the Mall Administrator.
The Same goes for Featured Products. Only Mall Administrator
can set them and usually they are arranged between the store
and the mall owner and involves some sort of payment. When
you click on the Cheap
Computer Deals store you are redirected to that
store alone. As you can see it's dynamic and only products
that belong to that store are shown and all other products
on the database are filtered and invisible.
Also take a look at the categories from
the left box of the mall. You will see several categories:
Apparel,
Computers,
Flowers,
Gourmet
& Kitchen, Home,
Garden, & Pets, Jewelry
& Watches. If you
notice once you click on each category a different set of
stores show up. This is because a specific category is assigned
to each store on the mall giving the end user a better way
to look for products.

are maintained by template designers giving you unlimited
freedom to change anything, store front end and even
back office. 
BugMall Shopping Cart uses ADOdb database abstraction
library. An object oriented library written in PHP that
abstracts database operations for portability. BugMall
Shopping Cart has been tested under MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft
SQL Server and PostGre SQL but it should work with all
compatible databases.
